Having fun and being safe.
Kids will walk and go door knocking up and down many streets with friends. To be safe, here are my
experienced things to remember and follow.
- set a route and stick to it
- carry a flashlight
- have a bag just in case you have an overflow
- be courteous to others, let younger kids go first
- try not to include crossing major streets
- have a trusted adult accompany 3-5 kids max
- don't go inside someone's house; takes time and you don't know them?
- don't eat the treats or candy until you get back to yours or your friends' house, then check it
- don't eat easily openable candy
There's more, but I am sure common sense will kick in
